Dry eye symptoms following cataract surgery.

This randomized, controlled clinical study demonstrates the development of dry eye-type symptoms after routine cataract extraction, and shows that topical cyclosporine ophthalmic emulsion can reduce the occurrence of these symptoms after cataract surgery.
