Abstract
We reviewed sixty-six patients with oropharyngeal carcinoma treated between 1983 and 1997 at Sapporo Medical University. The study consisted of 62 men and 4 women, 39 to 84 years old (an average of 61.0 years). The tumors were staged by TNM classification (UICC 1987) as follows stage I: 3, stage II: 9, stage III: 16, stage IV: 38.
