Molecular composites comprising poly(p-sulfophenylene terephthalamide) (sPPTA), a sulfonated polyaramid rigid-rod polyelectrolyte, and flexible-chain poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) were prepared by a green and easy-to-scale-up water casting method.
