Abstract
A 4,5-dioxoaporphine type alkaloid, cepharadione B (1), a phenolic acid, protocatechuic acid (2), and flavonols, quercetin (3), afzelin (4), and quercitrin (5), were isolated from the EtOAc-soluble extract of the whole plants of Houttuynia cordata.
