Abstract
In this study, a substitutive entrainer is found for the azeotropic process of water and isopropyl alcohol (IPA). Liquid–liquid equilibrium (LLE) data are measured for the ternary systems of water–IPA–benzene, water–IPA–cyclohexane, and water–IPA–hexane at three different temperature values: 303, 313, and 323 K.
