Abstract
The objective of this study was to determine the effects of six yeast (Saccharomyces cerivisiae, Candida tropicalis, Pichia burtonii, Candida utilis, Rhodothece glutinis, Geotrichum candidum) on lactate utilization by the predominant ruminal bacterium Selenomonas ruminantium(S. ruminantium).
