Abstract
A case of the ocular ischemic syndrome secondary to carotid artery occlusive disease responded to comprehensive treatment. The mode of presentation of the ocular ischemic syndrome is reviewed and the differential diagnosis discussed. Fluorescein angiography and electroretinography are shown to be useful adjuncts in the diagnosis and in assessing treatment.
