The study aimed to determine the performance of the students in the area of Mathematics particularly in Algebra and Trigonometry. The researchers used a retrospective study where documentary analysis in gathering the data was more appropriate. The data were gathered from the departmental examination given in Algebra and Trigonometry for the academic year 2011- 2013.
