Abstract
Abrus precatorius seeds are highly toxic and are often ingested as a means of suicide in India. Hemorrhagic gastroenteritis with erosions, hemolysis, acute renal damage, hepatotoxicity with elevated liver enzymes, and seizures are common manifestations of toxicity.
