Abstract
Purpose: P-glycoprotein (Pgp) inhibitors have been under clinical evaluation for drug resistance reversal for over a decade. Valspodar (PSC 833) inhibits Pgp-mediated efflux but delays drug clearance, requiring reduction of anticancer drug dosage.
