Abstract
Fluoroquinolone antibiotics cause rare, but clinically important, adverse events including hyperglycaemia and hypoglycaemia. The present study focuses on the possible effect of levofloxacin and moxifloxacin on the cardiovascular functions of rats with type I diabetes. Both antibiotics caused bradycardia.
