Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies, directed against constituents of granules of neutrophils and lysosomes of monocytes, are serological markers of small vessel vasculitides, including Wegener's granulomatosis, microscopic polyangiitis, Churg-Strauss syndrome and renal-limited vasculitis.
