Abstract
Gene expression of sterol regulatory element-binding proteins 1a, 1c, and 2 (SREBP-1a, -1c, and -2) and of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) synthase, HMG-CoA reductase, and the low density lipoprotein (LDL) receptor was examined in hamster small intestine.
