Abstract
Low-dose-rate radiation modulates various biological responses including carcinogenesis, immunological responses and diabetes. We found that continuous irradiation with low-dose-rate gamma rays ameliorated type II diabetes in db/db mice, diabetic mice that lack leptin receptors.
