Abstract
Solubility and tie-line data for the (water + formic acid + 1-decanol) ternary system were determined at T = 298.2, 303.2, 313.2, and 323.2 K and atmospheric pressure. Solubility data were obtained by cloud-point titration method. Distribution coefficients and separation factors were measured to evaluate the extracting capacity of the solvent.
