Abstract
Adenoma detection rate (ADR) has been proposed as a quality indicator of colonoscopy, but this cannot be measured easily with commonly used endoscopyreporting systems as they usually record whether a polyp was removed but not its histology.The purpose of this study was to determine if polyp detection rate (PDR) is a valid proxyfor ADR.
