Abstract
. Anderson-Fabry disease is possibly underdiagnosed in patients with end-stage renal disease. Nationwide screening was therefore undertaken for Anderson-Fabry disease among dialysis patients in Austria. Screening for α-galactosidase A (AGAL) deficiency was performed by a blood spot test.
