Abstract
We have performed histochemical, immunohistochemical, electron microscopic, and biochemical studies on the upper tibial cartilage from a case of multiple epiphyseal dysplasia, Fairbank type. Most chondrocytes had intracytoplasmic inclusions which took the stains for proteins and were resistant to microbial collagenase digestion.
