Abstract
Purpose null Patients with advanced heart failure (HF) have improved survival with LVADs. Some patients receive intravenous, continuous milrinone as support prior to transplant. Hospital readmission are frequent events in patients with HF. There is little data on hospital readmissions with LVAD compared to milrinone.
