Abstract
A hierarchical micro/nanostructure and low surface energy result in superhydrophobicity in a polystyrene film prepared by the electrohydrodynamics method. The composite film consists of porous microspheres, which contribute to superhydrophobicity by increasing the surface roughness, and interwoven nanofibers, which reinforce the film (see the SEM image).
