Abstract
Well-dispersed epoxy/single-walled carbon nanotube (epoxy/SWCNT) composites were prepared by oxidization and functionalization of the SWCNT surfaces using polyamidoamine generation-0 (PAMAM-0) dendrimer. For comparison purposes, neat epoxy, epoxy/PAMAM-0 and epoxy/pristine-SWCNTs were also prepared. The morphology and mechanical properties of the above composite systems were investigated and correlated with the surface characteristics of SWCNTs....
