Abstract
We studied the effect of uridine 5'-triphosphate in concentrations of 10(-10)-10(-6) M on myocardial contractile activity in 7-100-day-old rats. Analysis of isometric contraction of myocardial strips showed that uridine 5'-triphosphate reduced the strength of myocardial contraction in rats of all age groups.
