Abstract
We report potent radiosensitization of prostate cancers in vitro and in vivo using goserelin-conjugated gold nanorods. Progressive receptor-mediated internalization of conjugated nanorods over time increases the radiation interaction cross-section of cells and contributes to the effects observed in vitro.
