Abstract
We examined the mechanism of the inflammatory response induced by topical application of mustard oil (0.5-20.0%/20 microliters per ear) to the mouse ear compared to that of the response to capsaicin. The dose-dependent increases in plasma extravasation and ear thickness reached a maximum at approximately 30 min after mustard oil application.
