Abstract
The effects of the stereoisomers of N-acetylcysteine (l-NAC and d-NAC) on oxygen-induced lung oedema have been studied in rats. The NAC-isomers were given by an osmotic minipump in order to attain continuous administration, either intravenously or intragastrically.
