Typhoid colitis with massive lower gastrointestinal bleeing

Three cases of salmonella colitis with massive lower gastrointestinal hemorrhage are presented. The patients had fever, diarrhea, and abundant hematochezia; blood and bone marrow cultures were positive for Salmonella typhi.
