Abstract
The disorder usuallypresents with chronic localized back pain often ofseveral months’ duration. We report an unusualcase in which a non-obese person, without any ofthe above risk factors, presented acutely withsevere back pain following a lumbar puncture forsuspected subarachnoid haemorrhage.
