Abstract
A variety of different types of nasal vaccine systems has been described to include cholera toxin, microspheres, nanoparticles, liposomes, attenuated virus and cells and outer membrane proteins (proteosomes). The present review describes our work on the use of the cationic polysaccharide, chitosan as a delivery system for nasally administered vaccines.
