Abstract
The combination of phenol and potassium hydroxide (KOH) was used to chemically recycle carbon fibre reinforced epoxy resin cured with 4,4′-diaminodiphenylmethane in subcritical water. This combination had a synergistic effect on decomposing this kind of epoxy resin.
