Abstract
Tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases-3 (TIMP-3) plays a key role in regulating extracellular matrix turnover by inhibiting matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), adamalysins (ADAMs), and adamalysins with thrombospondin motifs (ADAMTSs).
