Abstract
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) exert their therapeutic effects through differentiation into a variety of terminally differentiated cells or the release of paracrine factors. As a source for obtaining MSC, bone marrow has been used chiefly but the exploit of adipose tissue, dental pulp and peripheral blood is also increasing.
