Unbalanced expression of VEGF and PEDF in ischemia‐induced retinal neovascularization

Retinal levels of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and pigment epithelium-derived factor (PEDF), an angiogenic inhibitor, were measured and correlated with the ischemia-induced retinal neovascularization in rats.
