Abstract
Aim Chronic granulomatous disease (CGD) is a rare X-linked or autosomal recessive primary immune deficiency characterized by recurrent, life-threatening bacterial and fungal infections. Mortality rates are high with conventional treatment. However, haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) offers cure.
