Abstract
Florid cemento‐osseous dysplasia refers to a group of fibro‐osseous lesions which are exuberant, multi‐quadrant and arise from the tooth‐bearing area of the jaws. It is classically described as a condition occurring almost exclusively in middle‐aged black women.
