Occult Vascular Malformations of the Optic Chiasm: Magnetic Resonance Imaging Diagnosis and Surgical Laser Resection

Angiographically occult vascular malformations of the optic nerve and chiasm are extremely rare. Before the advent of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), it was difficult to diagnose these lesions preoperatively.
