Activation of the AhR pathway prevents food allergy in mice

Ovalbumin treatment resulted in a huge influx of leukocytes in the BAL fluid. Treatment with scGOS/lcFOS/pAOS showed a decreasing trend in the total number of leukocytes in the BAL fluid, represented by decreases in the number of macrophages, neutrophils, eosinophils and lymphocyte subsets.
