Abstract
Hoplatessara luxuriosa null (Silvestri, 1895) is partly redescribed and illustrated. Its native range is shown to be in the cool-climate uplands of New South Wales, Australia. null H. luxuriosa null was originally labelled as collected by L.M. D’Albertis at Sorong in New Guinea.
