Abstract
Cryosurgical modification of atrioventricular (AV) node conduction was performed in five patients with AV node reentrant tachycardia that used dual AV nodal pathways and was refractory to drug therapy. The procedure alleviated the tachycardia in all patients without the development of complete heart block and without any associated surgical morbidity or mortality.
