Abstract
Ginseng has been recommended to alleviate the menopausal symptoms, which indicates that components of ginseng very likely contain estrogenic activity. We have examined the possibility that a component ofPanax ginseng, ginsenoside-Rb1, acts by binding to estrogen receptor.
