Modulation of leukocyte recruitment through intervention with chemokine receptors is an attractive, therapeutic strategy. Recently, we have shown that n-Nonanoyl (NNY)-CCL14 internalizes and desensitizes human (h)CCR3, resulting in the inactivation of eosinophils.
