Background: Leeds Teaching Hospitals recently became a Major Trauma Centre with a subsequent increase in trauma imaging. Standardised head trauma protocols were introduced in September 2013 stating a volume acquisition with 5mm soft tissue and 1mm bony reformats sent to PACS.
