ANALYTICAL STUDY FOR SHEAR RESISTING MECHANISM USING LATTICE MODEL
Volume: 26, Issue: 26, Pages: 95 - 109
Published: Dec 1, 1995
Abstract
The authors have developed a lattice model, which can be considered a simplified analytical model, to clarify the changes in the shear resisting mechanism of reinforced concrete beams during, for example, the initiation of diagonal cracking, yielding of the shear reinforcement, and crushing of the web concrete. This is a practical and macroscopic analytical model to explain the shear resisting mechanism. The applicability of this lattice model...
