Abstract
In this study, we determined the core structure and the Peierls stress of dislocations in Ti2AlN MAX phase. We use a generalized Peierls–Nabarro model, called Peierls–Nabarro–Galerkin (PNG), coupled with first principles calculations of generalized stacking fault (GSF).
