Abstract
GADD153/CHOP is a DNA damage-inducible, nuclear leucine zipper protein that is capable of producing a G1-S arrest in fibroblastic cells and of dimerizing with and inhibiting CAAT/enhancer binding protein (C/EBP) activities.
