Primary actinomycosis of the breast caused by Actinomyces turicensis with associated Peptoniphilus harei

Actinomycosis of the breast is a rare disease which may mimic malignancy in presentation. Clinical presentation may make it difficult to distinguish primary actinomycosis from mastitis and inflammatory carcinoma.
