Abstract
It is well known that dietary factors regulate versatile immunological functions, but the detail molecular and cellular mechanisms remain to be investigated. Here we show that vitamin B9 is a survival factor of regulatory T (Treg) cells in the intestine when it is supplied from diet. In vitamin B9-null condition, naïve T cells could differentiate into Treg cells, but differentiated Treg cells failed to survive. This effect was dose-dependent...
