Two new species of flat-backed millipedes (Diplopoda: Polydesmida) are described from Polillo Island, Quezon Province, Philippines. Both belong to suborder Strongylosomidea under the following families and genera: Paradoxosomatidae: Prionopeltis and Platyrhachidae: Platyrhacus.
