Abstract
Recent studies have suggested that hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is associated with increased stiffness of the aorta. However, a potential relationship between HCM and aortic dilation has not been established. Aorta size was characterized in 223 consecutive patients diagnosed with HCM.
