Temperature dependences of the dielectric permittivity e of (1−x)PbFe0.5Nb0.5O3-x BaFe0.5Nb0.5O3 solid solution ceramics at 100 Hz–1 MHz have been studied in the 12–500 K temperature range. To lower the conductivity values and exclude the corresponding relaxations, 1 wt% of Li2CO3 was added to the starting mixture of oxides. ABSTRACTX-ray diffraction and Мossbauer studies of perovskite BiFe1-xCrxO3 solid solution ceramics fabricated under high pressure (4–6 GPa) have been carried out. Two morphotropic phase boundaries were revealed: one between rhombohedral (R3c) and orthorhombic (Pbam) phases at x ≈ 0.5–0.6 and the other between the orthorhombic (Pbam) and monoclinic (C2/c) phases at x ≈ 0.9. ABSTRACTIt has been found out that compositional ordering degree of the Yb3+ and M5+ (M – Nb, Ta) ions in Pb2YbМO6 ceramics and, correspondingly, both temperature and diffusion of antiferroelectric phase transition can be varied within a wide range by means of high-energy mechanical activation. In particular, disordered modifications of Pb2YbМO6 (M – Nb, Ta) were obtained without using any additives for the first time.

Abstract Phase transformation and bloating behavior of CaMgSi 2 O 6 glass-ceramics with ZrO 2 nucleating agent using two-stage heat treatments were investigated as functions of annealing temperature.
