The results of differential thermal analysis (DTA) of the main physicochemical properties of a new composition of a charge of refined ferrochrome, which uses aluminosilicochrome as a new reducing agent, are presented. The temperatures and deviations of DTA curves from a specified direction are calculated. log Δt–1/T plots are constructed, and the apparent activation energies of the processes are determined from the slopes of the plots.
